Q. What browser is recommended to view webinars?

A. We recommend using  Firefox  or  Chrome. Safari for Windows and Internet Explorer are not supported.

Q. The video does not start. How do I start the Stream?

A. Click the play button (the triangle) that is in the middle of the video player

Q. I completed the webinar but cannot find my certificate

A. Click on the link at the bottom of the video player where it says “Get your certificate”. The certificates can also be found in the workshops and certificates pages on your account

Q. Will my regulatory bodies accept the certificate provided for continued education credits

A. The certificates provided are accepted by most regulatory bodies.  Please see the list of provided certificates on the bottom of each webinar page.  Make sure that you are aware of your states and disciplines regulations to ensure that you chose the correct certificate.  If you need assistance with this, Please feel free to email.

Q. I can not be present at the time of the live presentation.  Will I be able to access it at a later time?

A. If you are not able to view the webinar when it streams live, you may use the link to watch it at your convenience. All webinar recordings become available on the website about 24 hours after they stream live.

Q. How much time do I have to view the webinar?

A. You are allotted enough time to watch the webinar one time plus enough time to review most of the webinar a second time.  If for some reason you run out of time, do not worry, just reach out to us on the contact page.

Q. I purchased the webinar but am now being asked to pay again. How can I access the webinar?

A. You will need to login in order to access the webinar, you can do so by clicking on the “login to access it now” button. You can also access your webinars from your  account  page by selecting the  Workshops  tab.

Female Sexuality Across the Lifespan

Individual therapists as well as couples therapists deal with women’s sexuality all the time.  However, most therapists have no education and training on how to help couples through their sexual concerns and issues during major life cycle events such as when they are trying to conceive, when she is pregnant, postpartum, and menopause.  Is what they are experiencing normal?  How do other couples cope with this sexual concern?  This course will explore the intricacies of sexual lifecycle events from preventing pregnancy, trying to conceive, pregnancy, postpartum, to menopause.  Participants will learn to identify medical, psychological, and socio-cultural factors which are playing a role in her concerns.  They will also learn ways to best support the couple as well as practical intervention techniques to help them through this time in their life.

Sex Therapy with Diverse Cultural and Religious Populations

About 70-80% of the American population identifies as religious and adhering to a faith. Additionally, America is becoming more diverse than ever before. Practicing any type of therapy requires understanding and knowledge of cultures and religions that impact our client’s worldviews.  Even more so, practicing good sex therapy must consider a client’s family system as well as cultural and religious notions, practices, and values as pertaining to relationships, sexuality, sex, gender, and family systems.  This course will take a sweeping tour around the world with most time spent on Asia and the Middle East and will explore some of the norms, customs, practices, specific challenges, and specific strengths of working with people from different cultures and religions.  We will explore working with East Asians, clients from the Indian sub-continent, Muslims, Arabs, Jews, Christians, Mormons, and others.  With some basic understanding of these cultures and religions, participants will learn how to provide culturally-sensitive therapy, use their clients’ religion and culture in a strength-based approach, and navigate some of the common challenges that arise along the way.
